In the first section you see a Vindicator fighting some 10-12 ships outside a station. At 2mins50secs you can see he has a carrier helping him/remote repping him (a bit sly not to mention this in the text, but ok, still a good video).
It's a great fight - good enough for him to have made a video of it and he eventually dies after killing 3 Ravens, a Megathron and a Caracal. He regards it as remarkable enough to warrant commentary and perhaps it is.
But now imagine the same fight with Triage mode. The carrier would now be sending him 1200hp/s sustainable, or perhaps even 2400hp/s with 2 cap remote reppers. There is no fight now. This cool battle could never have happened, there would be no video, no commentary on it, nothing. The two of them would have eventually killed the entire gang and the vindicator never gone below 90% armour - unless they'd have been able to jam the vindicator and then they'd have just sat there until either the jam breaks or the carrier runs out of stront. Not cool.
Basically put - with Triage mode you won't see another 'vindication_3_final' (and if you did, it wouldn't be showing you anything out of the ordinary).
Most of the good videos by Damige, Farjung, etc. show fights that become irrelevant once Triage mode exists. Eve has such a proud history of gameplay to showcase - why ruin it? Triage mode does have some relevance for large scale fleet - but it will hurt the bread and butter of the game and deprive us of good small/medium gang mechanics.
I'm not sure why you think Triage suddenly negates game-play. All you've managed to show is that you 'think' more logistics makes all fights playable if players know how to use it to their advantage. If that's the case then we can expect to see more people using a wider variety of tools to accomplish extra-ordinary feats. Like smaller numbers taking out blobs. *gasp* Maybe this is the end of blobbing as we know it???
I fully expect to see many more videos of many more players who just know how to play and use the situation to their advantage.
Part of the facts is understanding we have a problem, and part of the facts is what you're going to do about it.
